	'Catching the light: Formalism and structures in painting' - an artists talk with Gabriella Klein and Michelle Jezierski will be held at the exhibition "I am a Berliner", the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art on Friday 27.1, 12:00 pm noon. The exhibition, curated by Mark Gisbourne, deals with current approaches toward painting, through the works of 18 Berlin-based artists. 'Meridian' - a new solo exhibition by artist Liron Rotman at the Tel Aviv Artists' Studios, opening on 14.1.12 at 20:00.

	"Falling in Line" - a new exhibition by artist Hilla Ben Ari in cooperation with artist Maya Attoun at Galleria Marie-Laure Fleisch, Rome. The exhibition, opening on December 14th 2011 and scheduled for two months, will act as the first part of the project "About Paper: Israeli Contemporary Art", curated by Giorgia Calò. The common installation "Falling in Line" was conceived specifically for the gallery's exhibition space, and demonstrates the artist's shared interest in grids and linear forms. Ben Ari's display will include paper works created especially for this show, among these is a large scale wall piece in weaving technique. The show also features the video work "Dusk", currently displayed also in the group exhibition "Curators and Co." at the Petach Tikva Museum of Art. Hilla Ben Ari also participates in a group exhibition at Gallery 121, opening 8.12.11. Avi Sabah participates in the group exhibition "Certified Copy" at Beit Hagefen - Arab Jewish Center, Haifa, opening on 1.12.11. 	Artist Avital Cnaani participates in "Demanding Space", an exhibition in the public space of Hamidrasha School of Art. This exhibition is a part of a new project of the curatorial studies. 	Artist Michal Geva participates in "House Hold" project in kibbutz Beeri and Urim - a 65 anniversary celebration of the first 11 settlements coming to ground in the Negev. A project curated by Sari Golan Sarig with 41 participating artists run from October 14 to November 29, 2011 Gallery 39 is pleased to announce a new venue which will accompany from now on the 2011/12 gallery's exhibition schedule -- a series of video conversations with the participating artists and curators. This series goal beyond just being a documenting tool is to extend the critical discourse evolves around these exhibitions. 	Hilla Ben Ari is taking part in the "Loop Art Fair" Barcelona 2011 between the 19-21 of May, as part of the Israeli program "Homemade 4" curated by Liliana Orbach. Hilla Ben Ari's work was purchased by the Israeli Knesset. The unveiling will take place on the 31^st of May. Ayelet Carmi will take part in the exhibition at the Ramat Gan Museum, as one of the award winners of the Culture and Sport prize 2010. Opening Friday the 26.5 at 12:00. Avital Cnaani is taking part in the exhibition, "Heroica" at the Petach Tikva Museum. Curated by Irit Carmon-Popper.
